Latinas in Art

This is a piece I made to enter in an art contest where the prompt asked "what makes you proud to be latino american?" As a latina artist, I wanted to pay homage to one of the most well known women who has paved the way for many female artists such as myself, Frida Kahlo. I wanted to celebrate the both of us as artists while also celebrating my own art style and the way I create.
